Guard Updates
Physicals - Please make sure your
student gets a physical and complete all forms (OSHAA form,
pages 1-4, and an Emergency Medical Release form) and turn them
in to Jim Olson prior to band camp. If your student
already had a physical within the past year, you can just have
his or her doctor complete the form.
March-a-thon - All
March-a-thon money is to be turned in by
Thursday, August 7, 2008. Each student was asked to raise
at least $40.00.
Harley Davidson Raffle - Please
be selling your tickets and volunteering your time to work a
shift at any of the many venues. We also are always in
need of people to help haul the bike to these venues.

Guard Dues - Fall guard dues are
to be finalized by Friday, August 1, 2008. Your payment of
$300 is due at that time. If this is going to be a
problem, please let Jim
Olson know.
New Members - If you are a new
member and need the warm up suit and guard bag, please turn your
order forms in to Jim Olson.
Fall Guard Chaperone Information
Thank you to everyone to volunteered to chaperone the fall
season events. We have all shifts covered. If
anything changes and you will be unable to chaperone an event
you are scheduled to cover, please contact the head chaperone,
Traci Alford at Traci.Alford@lexisnexis.com or Jim Olson at
jim.olson@fjminc.com.

General News and Information
Gloves - If your student lost
their gloves or needs a new pair, they can be purchased at Fred
J. Miller Company located at 118 Westpark Road off 725 in
Centerville. They can be purchased at the front desk with
either cash or credit card. They do not accept checks.
Website Pictures - As a member of
the guard, your son or daughter's picture may be displayed on
the website. If you do not want your student's picture
displayed, please contact the webmaster, Ted Gladeau at eagladeau@woh.rr.com.
Email Correspondence - The
majority of correspondence for the guard is through your
email. If you are not receiving emails or your email
address has changed please notify Jim Olson at jim.olson@fjminc.com
and Ted Gladeau at tgladeau@woh.rr.com.
